Close to the borderline of Cambodia, in the city of Khun Han in Thailand, travelers can stumble across a beautiful temple with intriguing architecture. This unique temple is entirely constructed out of Heineken and Chang (the local favorite) beer bottles. The monks of the Wat Pa Maha Chedi Kaew temple collected a total of one million bottles in order to build the temple. The creative temple was built to combat pollution and remind both locals and visitors to take care of their threatened Mother Earth. Even the bathrooms and the crematorium are made of beer bottles.
